A note from our Principal:
Classroom Placement.
Please understand that we are not taking parent requests for classroom teachers. We are continually shifting staff and there are often unusual and necessary changes that must be made. If you believe your child needs a type of teacher, or do not want your child in the same classroom as another child or had a teacher previously that was either a positive or negative experience you may place that in a letter to me and I will make some determinations regarding placement. That letter must be to me by May 20th.  Please trust our school processes to place your child in the next grade level. Parents, if you are retaining a child in a grade level, you have input into that decision. Please contact me. Thank you all for understanding that I do not make this decision lightly. Classrooms that are balanced, represent our diversity, and have a healthy mixture of children is our aim.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me in person or by email.  Thank you, Mr. S.

Please Help Improve Student Learning:

Attendance - I understand childhood illnesses and I want children to stay home when truly sick.  But when children miss 20, even 30 days of school, or are chronically tardy, it can severely affect their success in academics and their social relationships.  A team of teachers and staff here at North are working on incentives to raise our attendance rate percentages. Attendance is being tracked on a large bulletin board in the front foyer. Please make attendance at school a very high priority. Thank you.
-Mr. Schneider, Principal
